Here's what's new at H+H:
New app: H+H Alt. Text Checker
We built a new app to help our clients with adding alt. text to their product images: H+H Alt. Text Checker. It's a super simple (and free) app that searches your products, 50 at a time, and identifies the images with either no alt. text or alt. text that just repeats the product title.
From there you can manually update the product images with your own description or select the Shopify ai-generated alt. text. This is one of the very few exceptions where we endorse using generative ai for site content – the descriptions are typically very accurate and concise. If you're on a support plan with us, we take care of this process.

Tiered discount codes
We'd love to be able to set up an automatic tiered discount code, ie if a customer adds 10 cards to their cart they receive 20% off, if they add 50, 30% off, and 100 50 % off. Is there a way we can add this capability.
This is an admin-only update (no-code). We set this up as 3 separate automatic codes that are non-stacking. Shopify automatically picks the best rate for the customer. And we tested this out first in a development store to preview the discounts before enabling them in the live store.
Customize new customer template layout with added text
A client wanted to add custom text to the Customer Account page using Shopify's new customer accounts templates. We recommend upgrading to the new customer accounts templates because they integrate much better with apps like subscriptions and loyalty programs.
This update required an app to add custom text to these fields. We had the choice of either finding something in the app store, or quickly coding a purpose-built app. We chose a purpose-built app for this client and added an editable custom text field below the addresses block on the customer accounts profile page.
